Our lost and found rack is overflowing! Please take a moment to look at it and bring home items that your child has left behind. We will donate whatever is not picked up during fall break.
Report Cards
Please be sure to check your email for a link to your child's report card. You can also access your child's grades through the AERIES Parent Portal.
An Aeries Parent Portal Account has automatically been created for the primary parent email address listed for your student, as well as any email addresses associated with Contacts who have been granted Portal access.
If you did not receive an email with login information, follow these steps to gain access to your account for the first time:
Attached is a flyer for Pre-Holiday Parent Hacks Workshops for parents starting November 6th. The scheduled workshops topics will include: The Power of Routines, Managing Anger, and the ABCs of Tantrums. Workshops are for caregivers of children up to age 8. They are FREE and take place on Wednesdays from 10-11:30 am at HCOE at 901 Myrtle Avenue in Eureka. Caregivers can attend one, two or all three of the workshops.
Lunch on the Lawn & Quad
This year we will continue our tradition of having Lunch on the Lawn at Pine Hill on the 4th Friday of the month. Lunch on the Quad at South Bay will be the 3rd Friday of the month. Be sure to mark your calendars now and watch for reminders in our newsletters!

South Bay Union School District is proud to offer breakfast, recess snacks and lunch for free for all students at Pine Hill and South Bay schools! Breakfast is provided before school in both cafeterias, snacks offered at recess and lunch during scheduled lunch times. Please be sure to check the menu to know what will be served during the week.
